1 cup syrup
1 cup water
1 tsp lemon or lime zest
Combine all ingredients and place in the refrigerator for an hour to allow to completely chill.
Transfer to plastic or earthenware dish and place in freezer for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
Remove from dish and blend in blender or food processor and serve immediately or refreeze.
All flavors work well as sorbet!
